There's more to public speaking than sweaty palms
What you say to your employees is important. It affects their morale and how they do their jobs. But many corporate leaders are more used to speaking to other corporate leaders than to the foot soldiers who make their company go. They can have trouble relating to employees, or using language the lowest-level employee can understand. And if your employees don’t get your point, then you’re just wasting their time and yours. Speeches and scripted presentations should use basic language and sound natural.
